Tips for a good podcast.
- Have an intro that is fairly catchy and has a good transition between the music and dialog.
- Have some casual conversation to break the ice before questions.
- Don't worry about the conversations not following the questions exactly, this creates a less forced interview.
- Make the outro equally as catchy as the intro.
- Be confident when interviewing people.
- If reviewing something, concluding your opinion with a rating is a good idea as it lets the listener here an overall view of the product.
- letting people know your social media/ website is a good idea as it helps draw in more listteners and also could help people continue to listen to future podcasts.
- An introduction about the podcast / company is a good idea as it lets people know what they are getting into before listening.
- Don't worry about talking about one question too much as in most cases it leads to a better more in depth podcast.
- In some cases, background music could be used to match the mood of the podcast or to compensate for hesitation in the dialog.
